   Version 4.20

   1. Changes in RAR compression:

      a) RAR general compression algorithm is optimized for better
         utilization of several processor cores. While some speed gain
         is possible even in single processor mode, best results
         are achieved in multi-core environment.

         Speed gain depends on data type and average file size.
         Several cores are utilized more efficiently when compressing
         large files.

      b) we had to increase memory requirements to achieve higher
         compression speed. General RAR compression algorithm allocates
         about 120 MB comparing to 40 MB in WinRAR 4.11;

      c) RAR text compression algorithm cannot utilize several CPU cores
         efficiently, so its performance in multiprocessor environment
         is much lower than for general algorithm. Also its decompression
         speed is much lower than in general algorithm regardless of
         CPU number. So we decided to disable the text algorithm by default.

         If you need maximum possible compression ratio for plain text data
         regardless of speed, you can enable the text compression
         in "Advanced compression parameter" dialog. Press "Compression..."
         button on "Advanced" page of archiving dialog to access it.
         You can also change this option permanently in default compression
         profile;

         In the command line mode the text compression can be enabled
         with -mct switch;

      d) "Fastest" (-m1) compression mode also supports several processor
         cores now. In 4.11 it could use only a single processor core.

 2. RAR general decompression algorithm speed is slightly improved,
      though not to same extent as RAR compression. RAR decompression
      is not able to use several processor cores, so its performance
      does not depend on a number of cores.

Sửa chữa tốc hành các vấn đề về kết nối Internet

Tháng trước, thằng em họ nó gọi điện hỏi sao cái laptop không vô được internet nữa, không thấy biểu tượng wifi ở đâu hết. Thế rồi tôi mới gọi lại và chỉ nó cả buổi mới tìm được chỗ enable lại cái card mạng. Nó kết nối vô mạng wifi rồi nhưng vẫn không thể vào được Internet -> pótay. Ít nhất là tôi phải ngồi trước màn hình thì mới may ra tìm được cách giải quyết, còn nói qua điện thoại thì mù luôn, mà cũng chả nghĩ ra được nguyên nhân gì. Thế là nó kêu tôi…bỏ nghề đi ! Hic,

Hồi trước, tôi nhớ có giới thiệu phần mềm tí hon FixWin, giúp sửa các lỗi thông dụng của Windows. Hồi đó Windows Media Player của tôi trở chứng và phần mềm này đã giúp tôi giải quyết được. Và sau đó, qua comment thì tôi cũng được biết nó giúp được nhiều người khác gặp các vấn đề tương tự. - Repair Windows / Automatic Update : sửa lỗi Windows không thể tự update.
- Reset Windows Firewall Configuration : khôi phục lại cấu hình tường lửa của Windows trong trường hợp bạn đã sửa gì đó lung tung.
- Restore the default host file : khôi phục lại file host mặc định. Bạn có thể xem bài viết về file Host tại đây.
- Repair Workgroup Computers View : theo dự đoán thì nếu bạn không nhìn thấy các máy trong một Workgroup thì có thể dùng tính năng ngày để sửa. more.

Pakistan 'Koran plot' imam remanded in blasphemy case

A Pakistani imam has been remanded in custody, accused of planting pages of the Koran among burnt pages in the bag of a Christian girl held for blasphemy.

The girl was detained two weeks ago near the capital Islamabad after an angry mob demanded she be punished.
Imam Khalid Chishti allegedly told a witness that this was a "way of getting rid of Christians", a prosecutor said.
The girl, named as Rimsha, is said to be about 14 and to have learning difficulties.
The case has sparked international condemnation.
Earlier this week, a court extended Rimsha's detention at a maximum-security prison by a further two weeks.
Her father has said he fears for his daughter's life and for the safety of his family. He has called on Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari to pardon her.
Rimsha's parents have been taken into protective custody following threats, and many other Christian families have fled the neighbourhood.
Pakistan's strict blasphemy laws are often used to settle personal vendettas, correspondents say.
Last year two leading politicians were assassinated after speaking out against the legislation.
'Proven conspiracy' Imam Chishti appeared in the Islamabad court with a white blindfold and shackled hands.
There was a large police presence as he was ushered into the building.
"The imam was arrested after his deputy Maulvi Zubair and two others told a magistrate he added pages from the Koran to the burnt pages brought to him by a witness," an investigator Munir Hussain Jaffri said.
He said Mr Zubair and some others had told the imam not to interfere, urging him to "give the evidence to the police as he got it".
According to Mr Jaffri, Imam Chishti had told them: "You know this is the only way to expel the Christians from this area."
The investigator said the cleric had been arrested at his home on Saturday under Pakistan's blasphemy law.
"By putting these pages in the ashes he also committed desecration of the Holy Koran and he is being charged with blasphemy," he said.
The girl's lawyer told AFP news agency that Rimsha "should be acquitted immediately", as it had been "fully proven that it was a conspiracy".

Thực hiện: Minh họa bằng trình duyệt Internet Explorer
