Skype full offline installer setup

Yahoo Messenger was one of my favorite online chat program and voice calling application until a few years ago. Things have changed a lot after the introduction of Gmail, Google talk and with latest versions of Skype. Now I use Skype more often for online voice/ video calling. The reason why I prefer Skype is the platform independence, and call quality it offers.

Skype is now available for Windows, Mac, Linux desktop operating systems and iOS, Android, Symbian and Java mobile handsets. It has Facebook integration from version five onwards. So now we can chat with our Facebook contacts and read their updates from within Skype interface itself. Another interesting feature of Skype is the group video call, but for that they charge some amount depending upon the platform used. They offer cheap mobile/land line calls to some countries-and the clarity and reliability of this service are far impressive than others.

If you are regular user of Skye you might have noticed that it’s not easy to download the full offline version of the Skype from their website. Skype Ltd. usually provides an online installer that connects to the internet to download the rest of the software files. During such installation, they would urge the users to install third party toolbars and some applications too. While some may find it useful, most of us would be in need of a standalone and full setup that don’t need an internet connection for installation. So here is the direct link to download Skype offline installer if you are looking for one.
