Top 6 Wii Games of 2011

LOST IN SHADOW

Lost in Shadow seems like something that stems from minds of Shigeru Miyamoto or Fumito Ueda (Ico). It is, in a loose sense, the Wii's answer to Limbo. The game's concept, about a boy's shadow that must journey back to him by using objects' shadows as platforms, is unbelievably ingenious. Shadow is also the first major Wii release for 2011, and it's an exclusive.

Perhaps the slight catch to Lost in Shadow is that it's already been released in Japan and Europe, and reviews have been unusually mixed. Some reviewers have given the game incredibly high marks, with others saying the gameplay never lives up to the concept. It's a little disheartening to say the least, and with any luck we'll find ourselves pleasantly surprised when the game hits in just a few weeks.
